Fenland Community Church

Fenland Community Church is featured in the Church Army series of Booklets, called "Encounters on the Edge"  No 44: Hidden Treasures, Churches for adults with a learning disability.

The Church Army, based at The Sheffield Centre is Sheffield, publishes a list of titles in the "Encounters on the Edge" series. These booklets document "Discoveries about fresh expressions of Church..."

Following a visit from one of their researchers in 2008, a visit to the Sheffield Centre by Marilyn and Ed, and a numerous exchange of emails, this latest edition No 44 is born.

This takes a look at two Churches for people with a learning disability, (one of which is us) explains what is done, and discusses the implications. Even though we were involved in its production, I believe that the Church Army have done an excellent piece of work, and if you are interested in this area, then do contact them, and purchase a copy.
