The Lord's prayer

 

We went through the Lord’s Prayer in three sections.  Up to you how you do that!

At the start of each session, we spoke the Lord’s Prayer together using a series of photos / graphics.  

These photos / graphics are in the documents below. Please feel free to print them out as you need.  If you do no like them perhaps they may give you ideas to find or create your own!

The pictures break down as follows:

  1. Our father who art in heaven
  2. Hallowed (holy) is your name
  3. Your kingdom come
  4. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven
  5. Give us today our daily bread
  6. And forgive us our sins
  7. As we forgive those who sin against us
  8. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil
  9. For yours in the kingdom
  10. The power
  11. And the glory
  12. For ever and ever Amen

The way we used them is to ask 12 people to hold a printout.  Obviously facing the rest of the group.  As we got to each photo, we helped them to hold it up so everyone could see.  We took it slowly and thoughtfully pausing as necessary.
