Resources - Jesus is alive. The Easter story
This page has some general concepts that you may find useful.
There are also some limited copyright issues, which are towards the bottom of that page here. Please do read them. They are not complex!
I also make some comments about the source of material - again please read, especially if you recognise your material! I mean no offense.
There is also an Alphabetical list of resources here
On this page you will find a number of downloads that help tell the account of Jesus coming back from the dead. Jesus is Alive, not dead!
I have included a range of items that I hope can be used by people with varying abilities.
The account of this in the Bible, can be read in Matthew 28:1-10; Mark 16:1-end; Luke 24:1-12; John 20
A small colour booklet telling the story. (PDF Download here.)
This, and the larger version below, are from Lambsong. They have agreed that we can use and alter the material in any way and make it available to others. Our thanks to them. (In order to find this booklet on their page, once on their page, search for "jesus is alive". Search is normally accessed by pressing 'Ctrl + F 'on Windows or 'cmd + F' on Mac)
To print this main booklet.
Although the pages in the PDF look in a muddle, they are not! Simply follow these instructions and all will be well!
- This needs to be backed, double-sided or duplex printed, short edge or short sided binding or whatever your machine says. NOT LONG edge!
- Then once printed you will see that there are two copies per page. Simply cut the paper into two longways, fold and staple them together to make the booklet.

Pack of three wordsearches. (PDF Download here.)
Some of our folk like word searches, so we have put together some word searches. Some are a bit more complex. Have fun!
To print these word searches:
- You can either simply print them off as they are and you will get one per sheet,
- Or you can back them but this time use LONG EDGE binding which is probably the default.
Note that some of the word searches also have the answers, so if you want to separate the answers, then print the whole document simply without backing.
These word searches were originally downloaded from here and here.

Here is a short list of videos that we found on YouTube. They are all linked to the Easter events. We think you might find them fun to watch together.
I find it very hard to find material that is simple and straightforward, and not designed for children. Sorry about that. If you know better please let me know!!
These first two are clearly created for children. However, they simply tell the story without being silly or too childish.
These next two are simple fun songs on the Easter story. Again for Children, but they may be OK for you
These next ones are not necessarily simple to learn or sing, but they are worth listening to.
